Young provides a team with good range and good pursuit skills. Young has natural linebacker instincts; he always seems to be involved in the play no matter where on the field it is. Young can play from sideline-to-sideline and is very proficient in coverage. Young is an excellent tackler and wraps up at the spot of initial contact. Young has the potential to be a very effective outside linebacker or middle linebacker at the NFL level.
